Wash Your Hands
The first way is to wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Especially if you are after being in a public place or after closing your mouth and nose after coughing clean.
Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. If there is no soap and water, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Rub on all surfaces of the hands and rub evenly to dry. Avoid touching the nose, mouth and eyes with hands that have not been washed thoroughly.
Avoid Close Contact
Avoid close contact with sick people. Leave a distance between you and the person who is sick if Covid-19 spreads around you. This is very important to do to prevent transmission of the virus. Especially for people who are at high risk for severe illness.
Stay at home if you are sick
If you are sick, try to stay at home except for medical treatment. Check your condition with your doctor for further treatment.
Cover your nose and mouth if you cough or sneeze
If you are coughing or want to sneeze, don't forget to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow. Then throw the used tissue in the trash. Wash your hands immediately with soap and water for 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Use a Mask if it hurts
If you are sick, wear a mask when near other people, such as in public transportation, shared rooms and before you enter the examination room at the health service center.
If you don't wear a mask because you have difficulty breathing, then you have to do something else to close your sneezing and coughing. For someone who is treating you, remind you to wear a mask when entering your room. Learn and know what to do if you are sick.
For healthy people, you don't need to wear a mask. Unless you are treating a sick person and that person is not wearing a mask.
Diligent Cleaning and Disinfection
The sixth method, namely by diligently cleaning and disinfecting the surface of objects that you touch every day. These objects such as tables, door handles, telephones, light switches, keyboards, taps, sinks to the toilet. If the surface is dirty, clean it using detergent or soap. Then rinse with water. Do it before disinfection.
